Toindranauth "Tee" Ramdeo

Tee is an Associate on the monitoring and reporting team at CANY. His responsibilities include overseeing the Intake process, assisting with the preparation for monitoring visits and post-visit follow-ups, helping to coordinate the intern program, and working to strengthen guidelines and protocols for responding to various communications with incarcerated people, loved ones, and other stakeholders. Prior to working at CANY, Tee worked for Queens Hospital as a Community Health Worker where he received referrals from the medical staff and worked with patients to identify barriers to their health goals and provided them with the resources needed to eliminate these barriers. Tee earned a BA from Bard College (BPI). For his senior project, he did a case study on Guyana in his effort to understand the root causes of ethnic politics/conflicts in the world. He completed his MPS degree in leadership and urban ministry from New York Theological Seminary (NYTS).
